Latest research on weight

As far back as I can remember, we have always been told that to be healthy, it was essential to move and eat well. These recommendations have passed through many generations.

Yet there are so many discoveries that have been made in the world of training and diet! Let's get a little update on some new discoveries.

Gently on the drinks!

Judging by a recent British study, one glass of alcohol may sabotage your weight loss goal. 

In fact, people who drank an alcoholic beverage containing juice were ingested 15% more food than those who consumed only juice.

 To explain this result, scientists argue that alcohol would have the effect of increasing the taste of food and appetite. 

Moral of this research? Try to drink after dinner, or better yet, not at all.

Eating in the dark

Who said that everything was more intense in the dark? Well, if we go by German researchers, it seems that it is easier to gain weight when you do not see our food. 

In fact, people who have been serving a large portion of food in total darkness consumed on average 36% more calories than those who ate in full light. 

The author of the research, Scheibehenne Benjamin, argues that in the dark, our brain receives less information and therefore it is more difficult to know if the hunger is still present or not.

Cheers calcium!

This is what everyone should say if we go to a recent study by American journal of clinical nutrition. Indeed, in addition to helping to keep bones healthy, 

calcium could be an ally more than helpful in weight loss. In slimming process, the study subjects who had the highest intake of calcium lost up to 60% more weight than those who had the lowest levels of calcium. 

You should definitely tell you that you simply engage in calcium supplements? A British study confirms that it is best to take calcium directly from food and supplements in pill form could increase the risk of heart attacks.

Forget the genes!

If you are the type to blame your genes to explain your overweight, you may break the sugar on the back of them for nothing.

 A recent UK study has shown that genetically obese people could lower their risk of being overweight or obese by practicing a program of regular physical activity. 

In fact, during this study, researchers found that people genetically predisposed to obesity withdrew more benefits to training than those who had "normal" genes. 

Although some research has yet to be pushed further, you find like me that the human body has a lot to teach us.

Who knows? Maybe the pill whole health we will soon be available in supermarkets.
